The idea behind the project was simple: fully committing to the waves. Spending real, quality time in the water, prioritizing intention over quantity. One solid session with a clear plan instead of chasing multiple sessions without purpose. Everything he has built over the years — boards, wetsuits, impact vests, technical gear — allowed him to be present, to push himself, and to truly live the process.
Ireland puts you in your place. The environment is raw, unpredictable, and intense. The waves are powerful, the conditions are constantly changing, and there’s always that uncertainty about what the next day will bring. It forces you to stay present. There’s fear — real fear — but also a deep sense of reward when things come together.
The trip was tough, but incredibly fulfilling. A reminder that putting yourself in situations you don’t fully control is always worth it. That’s where growth happens.
