SILK: The Art of Perfect Balance
Introduced in 2023 through the collaboration of the AFS design team and Laurent Borgna, the SILK range was created with a clear vision: to redefine the feeling of effortless carving while delivering exceptional stability and control in every condition.
Every detail of the design serves a purpose. From its carefully sculpted bumps and refined winglets to the adaptive geometry tailored to each wing size, the SILK range was engineered to maximize glide, enhance precision, and elevate overall performance on the water.
Rather than chasing the most radical speeds or the tightest turns, SILK follows a different philosophy. It was never built to push the limits for the sake of extremes. Instead, it embodies something far more enduring: the pursuit of perfect balance where fluidity, confidence, and performance come together in harmony.

We strengthened the range by offering a wider choice of sizes – now one of its biggest strengths. From 650 to 1150 cm², a size exists for every rider, every discipline, every session.’

The reactions of the tips near the surface have been stabilized. Reduced ventilation effect, more natural rail-to-rail transitions, immediate carve initiation, constant sensation of fluidity.’
