Code Foils has introduced a new board range developed by Marcus and Ben Tardrew, bringing together more than 40 years of combined board-building and shaping experience.

Each shape is purpose-built for its intended discipline, with construction focused on stiffness, durability and a direct connection between rider and foil. The range includes Prone and Mid-Length Prone Boards, the KANGA Dock Start Board, WASP Boards, Downwind SUP Boards and FAST Foil Assist Super Trench Boards.

Prone and Mid-Length Prone Boards

Designed on Australia’s Gold Coast and tested by riders from beginners to professionals, the Prone and Mid-Length Prone Boards position volume beneath the rider’s chest to maximise paddling power and help the board accelerate into waves.

A flat bottom profile increases paddling speed and encourages an earlier, cleaner release during take-off. Maximum stiffness through the foil-track area creates a strong deck-to-foil connection and a direct, controlled feel beneath the rider’s feet.

The Prone Board uses a compact, responsive platform, while the Mid-Length Prone has a longer, narrower outline for easier paddle-ins. Full-carbon construction, a high-density PVC wrap and heavily reinforced foil tracks create a lightweight and durable platform. The complete range is Foil Drive compatible.

Prone Board sizes

  • 26L – 4’3″ × 18.5″
  • 29L – 4’6″ × 19″
  • 35L – 4’9″ × 19.5″
  • 40L – 5’2″ × 20″

Mid-Length Prone Board sizes

  • 29L – 5’0″ × 19.5″
  • 36L – 5’3″ × 19.5″
  • 40L – 5’6″ × 20″

WASP Boards

Wing. Assist. SUP. Parawing. The WASP range provides one versatile platform across multiple foiling disciplines.

Full-carbon construction, a high-density PVC wrap and reinforced foil tracks create a strong connection to the foil for confident take-offs and responsive control across changing conditions. WASP Boards up to 90 litres feature multiple footstrap insert positions, allowing riders to fine-tune their stance and setup. The complete WASP range is Foil Drive compatible.

Available sizes

  • 50L – 5’1″ × 19.5″
  • 60L – 5’5″ × 19.75″
  • 70L – 5’8″ × 19.75″
  • 80L – 6’1″ × 20″
  • 90L – 6’5″ × 21.25″
  • 98L – 6’9″ × 22.5″

KANGA Dock Start Board

Built for maximum stiffness and immediate feedback through every pump, the KANGA delivers a lightweight, direct and responsive connection to the foil. Exaggerated chines help reduce sticking during take-off and minimise disruption if the board touches the water while pumping.

The KANGA uses a full-carbon, heat-pressed construction with a high-density closed-cell PVC foam core and aerospace-grade pre-preg epoxy and carbon. Formed at 140°C in a CNC-machined steel closed mould, its integrated track boxes are fully laminated from the base through to the deck.

  • Dimensions – 900 mm × 16.5″
  • Volume – 10L

Downwind SUP Boards

The Downwind SUP Boards are designed to make paddle-ups more efficient and reduce the effort required to release onto foil. Volume is carried forward to provide stability and increased surface area beneath the rider’s front foot, helping the board accelerate and release earlier while paddling into bumps.

The exaggerated pin tail uses a rounded dome profile to reduce resistance through the tail while pumping. A flat bottom increases speed and encourages a clean release, while the minimal rail angle preserves surface area and stability. Full-carbon construction, reinforced foil tracks and additional PVC reinforcement through the standing area provide stiffness and control. The complete range is Foil Drive compatible.

Available sizes

  • 90L – 7’2″ × 19″
  • 100L – 8’0″ × 17″
  • 110L – 8’0″ × 19″
  • 100L – 8’5″ × 16.5″
  • 110L – 8’5″ × 18″
  • 120L – 8’5″ × 20″

FAST Boards

FAST stands for Foil Assist Super Trench, a dedicated Foil Assist board designed around a cleaner, more integrated setup.

The Super Trench allows the battery and unit of foil-assist products to sit within the board. Full-carbon construction, a high-density PVC wrap and reinforced foil tracks create a strong connection to the foil. The compact range is designed to complement Code Foils’ Foil Drive collaboration range of integrated masts and products and is compatible with Foil Assist systems.

Available sizes

  • 30L – 5’0″ × 19″
  • 38L – 5’5″ × 19.5″
  • 49L – 5’10” × 20″
