With a background in windsurfing and sailing, a sharp race brain and a growing role in the development of Ozone’s Fusion wings, Mathis sits right at the point where elite performance meets innovation. We caught up with him to talk about how he got started, why racing hooked him so quickly, what it feels like to hit over 40 knots on a wing, and where he thinks the sport is heading next.
