Got a big rip or a tear in a high-stress area of your wetsuit? Learn how to repair a wetsuit by gluing and hand stitching it with nylon thread and a cross stitch. This is Part 3 of our wetsuit repair series. It works for surfing, diving, snorkeling, SUP, and open water swimming wetsuits.

🛠️ What you need:
Nylon thread (not cotton)
Thin needle
Wood block (flatter and more stable than cardboard)
Neoprene glue and brush
Scissors, paper towels, and gloves
💡 Tips:
Use nylon thread, because cotton soaks up water.
Stitching only partway through the neoprene keeps the suit comfortable on the inside.
