NIXY has completely revamped their lineup of inflatable paddle boards for 2018, incorporating the latest in Fusion technology. As a result of the Fusion construction, the 2018 NIXY Newport weighs in at only 17 pounds and can be pumped up to 20 PSI for incredible rigidity.
This model measures 10’6″ x 33″ x 6″, and it’s an extremely stable all-around board that is perfect for beginners all the way to advanced paddlers. The board’s excellent stability makes it a great choice for paddling with small kids and dogs, and it’s a really versatile iSUP that does well in a wide variety of conditions.
The top of the NIXY Newport is covered by a two tone EVA foam traction pad. The deck pad features a diamond pattern with a crocodile texture, and it provides excellent grip.
At the nose of the board is a bungee cord storage area as well as a Halkey Roberts air valve. There are two D-rings mid-board for attaching an optional SUP kayak seat, as well as a heavily cushioned, neoprene grab handle.
At the tail of the board is a D-ring for attaching the included SUP leash.
On the underside of the board is a large, oversized NIXY Sports logo along with a D-ring at the nose for towing. The fin configuration on this board is a tri-fin setup, and all three fins are removable and attach with a toolless fin system.
