As the season shifts and the opportunities to ride open up, there has never been a better time to be all in.View on
SVEIN RASMUSSEN - Pushing The Future of Foiling
Few people have shaped modern watersports quite like Svein Rasmussen. As the founder and CEO of Starboard, he has spent more than three decades pushing the boundaries of board design, helping transform windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and now foiling. Despite the constant pursuit of innovation, Svein’s view of the future of foiling is surprisingly simple. The real growth of the sport, he believes, will not come from ever more technical equipment or elite-level performance. It will come from beginners.View on
The Foil Pod: Mathis Ghio, Racing, Speed and the Future of Wing Foiling
Wing foil racing is still one of the newest and fastest evolving corners of the sport, and few riders have had a better view of that development than Mathis Ghio. Sensi Graves and the Inclusive Future of foiling
Foiling is evolving faster than almost any other watersport on the planet. New disciplines appear almost yearly, gear continues to improve and riders are discovering entirely new ways to use wind and swell. But while the technology is moving quickly, the biggest shift in the sport may actually be who is getting involved. Former professional kiteboarder Sensi Graves has found herself at the centre of that change, not just as a passionate foiler, but as someone helping open the door for more women and newcomers through coaching, community events and her own journey balancing life on the water with motherhood.View on
The People's Prestige
When Cabrinha released the Prestige foil using the new Union system, it created plenty of conversation, a new connection, a stiffer mast and a redesigned range of wings promising a step forward in performance. But the real story only appears once riders start putting hours on the water in real conditions. Over the past few months, we have been hearing from foilers around the world riding the Prestige in everything from small wind swell to long downwind runs, and the feedback has been remarkably consistent.
Technique
The race gybe is one of the most stylish and practical turns in wingfoiling, blending speed, control and smooth power management into one fluid move. While it can look similar to a duck gybe, the key differences lie in the wing handling and timing, and once dialled in, it opens up a fast, efficient and seriously satisfying way to turn.
Tech Focus: Ride Engine Charger
As foiling continues to evolve, the conversation around safety is changing too. Helmets designed specifically for dynamic water sports are starting to appear, and Ride Engine’s new Charger helmet is one of the latest. We caught up with Gary Siskar to take a closer look at the thinking behind the design.
Tech Focus: AFS HA Ultra

In this Tech Focus, we take a closer look at the AFS HA Ultra front wing and explore how this latest generation of design is pushing what’s possible on the water.
