North ‘Learn to Foil’ series with Jeremiah McDonald is here! Courses are offered by sailing clubs, beach clubs, and activity centres all over the world, wherever there are people that want to learn how to fly!

Courses start from $350 (price may vary). At the end of your course, you’ll get a certificate code that gives you a 20% discount on North foiling equipment.

North Learn to Foil Step 1: Handling the Wing Step 1 is entirely land-based. The objective is to teach riders how to handle and use the wing to generate forward motion.

North Learn to Foil Step 2: Tow Foiling Step 2 is almost entirely water-based. The objective is to get riders used to the feeling of foiling by towing them onto the foil behind the coach boat in a safe and controlled manner.

North Learn to Foil Step 3: Displacement Step 3 is designed to get riders sailing ‘there and back’ (beam reaching) on a wingfoil board without the foil – effectively using the board as a SUP.
