Andy Crière has just returned from Ireland — without a doubt the most demanding and powerful trip of his life.
The idea behind the project was simple: fully committing to the waves. Spending real, quality time in the water, prioritizing intention over quantity. One solid session with a clear plan instead of chasing multiple sessions without purpose. Everything he has built over the years — boards, wetsuits, impact vests, technical gear — allowed him to be present, to push himself, and to truly live the process.
Ireland puts you in your place. The environment is raw, unpredictable, and intense. The waves are powerful, the conditions are constantly changing, and there’s always that uncertainty about what the next day will bring. It forces you to stay present. There’s fear — real fear — but also a deep sense of reward when things come together.
The trip was tough, but incredibly fulfilling. A reminder that putting yourself in situations you don’t fully control is always worth it. That’s where growth happens.
The film reflects that mindset: a focus on presence, respect for the environment, and the balance between intensity and calm. Visually and emotionally, it’s about immersion — being in the moment, in the elements, and in your own head.
Music also plays a key role in shaping the feeling of the trip — something instrumental, slow, almost trance-like, allowing the environment to speak for itself.
