Connor Baxter with Hawaiian teammate – Mo Freitas – put on a show with the most exciting finish of the competition. With a last minute wave Mo caught Connor up as they hit the beach at the same time, the sprint up to the finish line seemed like it lasted forever as the entire crowd had to wait in anticipation as the officials reviewed the finish camera, after 15 minutes they made the announcement that Mo won by 0.2 seconds! Daniel Hasulyo rounded out the podium in 3rd.
In the women Olivia put in the hard yards but couldn’t quite catch Annabel, settling for Silver, whilst Fiona Wylde confirmed 3rd place.
