Check out this review – The THURSO SURF 10’6″ looks epic! — In this review of the new THURSO SURF 10’6″ Waterwalker inflatable SUP, we’ll talk about the features and specs of this board, the pros, and cons, what comes with it, how it paddles in the water, and more.

Founded in 2016, THURSO SURF is a fresh name on the paddleboarding scene and they’ve wasted no time in expanding their inflatable paddle board lineup. Following on the heels of the company’s successful 11′ iSUP, the 10’6″ Waterwalker is 31″ wide and 6″ thick. This board weighs 24 pounds and is capable of supporting up to 280 pounds.

This is an all-around board that has more of a touring SUP shape to it. It paddles well in the water and despite being only 31″ wide (as opposed to the 32″ width of the 11′ model), still offers good stability.

While the 10’6″ Waterwalker shares the same design elements as the company’s first board, THURSO incorporated some new features in this latest model. First of all, THURSO added a padded neoprene carrying handle cover that has a velcro closure and can be used to secure your SUP paddle. They also removed the towing D-ring on the board’s nose and replaced it with a grab handle, which we definitely prefer.

On the flip side, this board comes with a tri-fin configuration. All three fins are removable and feature a toolless fin system.

THURSO SURF covers all of their inflatable paddle boards with a solid 2-year warranty covering all manufacturing defects, and the company is great as far as customer service goes. Also included with the THURSO 10’6″ Waterwalker iSUP is a carbon fiber shaft SUP paddle, dual-action hand pump, SUP backpack, repair kit, leash, and insulated SUP deck bag.

Despite the fact that there are a few areas we think could be improved upon (we talk about this in the video), this is a great board that offers excellent value.
