Mark your calendars! Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is set to host the prestigious World Championship Tour Final for SUP Surfing from the 10th – 19th December.
The APP World Tour will be heading out to the beautiful City of Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria from the 10th – 19th December for a prestigious surfing stop – the Gran Canaria Pro-Am. After a groundbreaking first edition in 2018 that saw one of the most epic final days of competition ever on the APP World Tour held at the World Class break of El Lloret, we are looking forward to what will no doubt be a dramatic finale to the 2019 season, as World Champions will be crowned once again in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The Events Lineup:
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will host a prestigious World Championship Tour Stand Up Surfing event from the 10th – 19th December, with a nine-day holding period allowing athletes to capitalise on the best surf through the holding period. With Open Trials competition to decide the final four spots in the Main Event, followed by the spectacular Surf competition from the World’s Best.
Inflatable SUP World Games ~ 14th & 15th December
The all-new for 2019 APP World Tour is the introduction of the Inflatable SUP World Games, that will provide a completely all-inclusive component to the Gran Canaria Pro-Am, with participation for youth and adults. Pro’s and Amateurs come together competing in different heats at the City Beach of Las Canteras – sport zone
The races will also count for the final stop of the Canarian Championship (rider must be federated in the Canarian surf federation FCS)
