The new 2020 Starboard Lima Paddle set the standard in high-performance paddleboard racing. The direct catch and ability to redirect automatically is what makes our world champion race team choose the Lima. The 2020 Lima has been completely redesigned from the ground up. It has a unidirectional carbon fibre stringer for strength, surrounded by our brand new 3k carbon Prepreg Technology. This Prepreg Technology not only boasts a seamless finish but also enables us to reduce the paddle weight by 169 grams for the blade and 300grams for the entire fixed paddle ~ that’s an impressive 20% lighter than the Lima’s predecessor and easily the lightest paddle on the market.
They also reimagined the blade shape. The newly redesigned outline boats a superior high aspect shape that seamlessly catches and grips the water throughout your stroke. The high-aspect design is also complemented by a deep centre concave as well as concave edges to ensure maximum power and grip.
