The Spectrum offers an incredible lift that provides balance and control, allowing riders to explore different terrains and push their abilities to the limit. Whether you're navigating choppy waters, waves, or flat surfaces, this foil ensures a smooth and predictable experience, even in challenging conditions.
Each front wing in the Spectrum range has a medium aspect-ratio, striking the perfect balance between performance and control. The wings are constructed using a multi-layer carbon laminate, making them lightweight and highly durable. The unique design of the wings narrows in thickness from the middle to the tip, creating a negative angle-of-attack towards the end of the tip. This design technique, borrowed from aviation, reduces drag and improves speed.
The Spectrum foil provides an even and predictable flight, making takeoffs easy and steady. It also allows for super smooth turns. The larger size of the foil contributes to a more balanced flight behavior at all speeds. The dihedral curvature enables the foil to tilt into turns, mimicking the maneuverability of a skateboard for a smoother cruising experience. Gybes, tacks, 360s, and transitions are made simpler, as the rider can feel the back wing and use it to pivot the foil.
The foil's construction utilizes a high-quality lightweight carbon and PU foam, which adds complexity but results in significant weight savings. The extruded aluminum mast is both lightweight and durable, thanks to its 6063 aircraft aluminum composition. The mast features a progressive five stringer, thin wall design, reinforcing areas that experience the highest stress. The precise fit ensures a tight connection with the fuselage.
The Spectrum foil is compatible with a 90mm mast track and boasts a hydrodynamic profile that enhances its connection to the board. The deep mast socket provides a secure connection, while the low profile and slick form minimize resistance during touchdowns. The strategic internal struts and open screw attachment points make assembly quick and stress-free.
The CNC'd fuselage has rounded edges to improve water flow over the wing and stabilizer. The geometric wing connection surface area has been maximized to reduce twist and improve stiffness, performance, and water flow. The area between the wing and mast is optimized to minimize torsion movement.
Included in the Spectrum set are all the necessary components, including the mast, front wing, stabilizer, fuselage, mast base, and screws, along with the required tools such as anti-corrosion paste and a screwdriver. The set is compatible with any 90mm US-box track system.
CORE foils are known for their durability and longevity, and to back this up, they offer a six-year parts availability guarantee. Replacement parts will be stocked for a minimum of six years.
