For many getting into Winging its the simplicity that attracts. Tony is showing in this video that the gusty and variable conditions of his home lake in Idaho can make for some epic sessions in both the light airs and stronger breezes. Knowing that the conditions can frustrate Tony’s attitude of always learning keeps him motivated for the next epic session.

Tony is 61 years old wing foiling year around and living his best life in Idaho.
He started winging 2 years ago in some challenging conditions, typical of mountain lakes. Gusty winds, unpredictable weather, and quite inconsistent winds. Tony is making the best of it and wing foils a few times a week all year around, even if it means dry suit in 15 degree air temperatures. Tony shares with us his philosophy on how he overcame the difficulty of learning this new sport with no prior wind sports experience.
His message is clear, get out there as much as you can and don’t give up!
We hope this inspires you to live your best life wing foiling wherever you are.
