Surfing will always been seen as the purest of water based sports. It takes time to get get good and that commitment gives you rewards in longer rides in bigger, cleaner and nicer waves. Its the same thing with prone foiling, only time in the water will give you results. Except with foiling its not necessarily about getting bigger and better waves its more about getting the waves that may be harder to catch so you can surf new spots and ideally link a few waves together and stay foiling for longer.
