As such, this video is all about learning to steer on the foil, upwind and downwind. Steering is an essential skill you must master before you start carving and gybing your heart out.
Steering downwind is the first building block of the foiling gybe!!! It enables you to get yourself and your kit into a position from which you can start your gybe. Steering upwind is the essence of riding upwind! Knowing you can make up lost ground between gybes is a massive confidence booster.
