A small team based on the Isle Of Wight are planning to follow in the footsteps of one of the biggest yacht races in the world. A lap of the small island off the South Coast of England will see them take on a 50 odd mile rounding going across, up and down wind in some fairly strong tides and also through a major shipping channel. Tom Court, Ross Williams, Tom Buggy and Sam Light will hopefully be the first to wingfoil around the island and they are doing for the HASAG charity.

In this episode of Court In the Act I am into a wing foiling session off of Cowes green on the Isle of Wight. Wind against tide in an easterly, we hit the water for some of the longest running foiling swells in front of all the yacht clubs. Our plan it to attempt a round the island foil wing challenge, the 60 mile rounding is in some of the worlds most tidal complex waters. Doing it with Tom Buggy, Sam Light and Ross Williams in aid of HASAG charity.

It will be the first attempt as far as I know to round the island on a wing foil, it is a challenge that will require a lot of endurance, the right wind conditions, timing the tides and a lot of training!!
